Today, Thursday June 28th is the latest specialty draft release and it's another fun experiment which are my favorite beers from the 1.5 year old brewery. Lime Kolsch may change your mind about lime flavored beers or make your dream come true depending on your taste for mexican lagers. Made with hand zested lime peel and lemongrass and a traditionally fermented Kolsch this beer is light and crisp with a refreshing zesty quality. I am expecting it to go over big for summertime drinking. It will be on tap when the pub opens today starting at 3pm.
Urban Farmer Restaurant in the Nines Hotel downtown is one of the coolest restaurants I have been to in town. Somehow managing to be both indoors and have an outdoor feel with it's skylight and bamboo it has a Japanese garden vibe to it. They also have some of the best food and drinks in town and are teaming up with Burnside Brewing for a casual Beer & BBQ party. For $40 you get a 6 punch card, there will be 5 BBQ stations with each dish a Burnside Brewing beer is paired up, for the 6th punch you can go back to one pairing for seconds.
