August looked to be a slow month in the aftermath of Oregon Craft Beer Month, but this weekend is no different than many in July, with no fewer than 3 different beer festivals (BikeToBeerFest, Humulus Maximus and the first ever Vancouver Brewfest) in the greater Portland area. Not to mention Migration Brewing Co. debuts its brand new, reimagined logo with a party featuring beer specials and giveaways.

Migration is excited to share the evolution of our company’s new logo. Why is Migration changing their logo? Simply said, we have chosen to evolve the logo due to a cease and desist filed by the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) last summer. Under the threat of being sued over this issue, we decided that we would prefer to spend our time making great beer rather than getting caught up in a potentially costly and time consuming lawsuit.
Migration Logo Evolution
Saturday August 11th 2pm
Migration Brewing, 2828 NE Glisan, Portland, OR
We are excited about the rollout of our new look and have worked hard to produce new tap handles, merchandise, and marketing materials that better communicate our brand and company story. We appreciate the loyal support shown by our friends, customers, and community, and we look forward to keep following our passion of making great beer for great people. So please join us in raising a glass to our evolution Saturday, August 11th 2012, with specialty beers, giveaways, and a celebration focusing on the new logo rollout.

Mondays: Every Monday $3.00 Pints all day 11am-12am
Tuesdays: BINGO games @ 7PM and 8PM…$2 per card winner takes all
Wednesdays: Charlie’s Chug Club night $3.00 20oz pints all night
Thursdays: Brews and Boulders, boulder at either of “The Circuit"’s gyms and enjoy happy hour beer, food and climbing movies all night.

3 things...
ReplyDeleteThe aegir ipa was excellent, thanks Plew's!
The new Migration logo is waay better, thanks MAC!
And finally as a former resident of the 'couve I was less than excited about the Vancouver Beer fest just because I am a hater, but when I thought about it the Vancouver fest has the potential to be one of the most exciting fests in the area if the organizers could procure WA beers that are not available in OR.
