Double Mountain Killer Brass DBA for the Horse Brass 37th Anniversary

By  |

We are coming up on the legendary Horse Brass pub’s 37th anniversary and this year the classic english-style bar has big plans including this specialty Fresh Hop ale “Killer Brass DBA” brewed by Double Mountain to celebrate.

This “dangerous” fresh hop ale was brewed with extra fresh Mt. Hood hops from Sodbuster Farms in the Willamette Valley, and added to a base of Pilsner malt, a little rye, and some Oregon clover honey.  The spice of the rye compliments the Mt. Hood’s pleasant, clean, forest aroma, and leaves a finish that is as crisp as a fall Northwest morning.  The warmth of the honey evens the palate, and makes this a perfect beer to celebrate this time of year. It’s a strong blonde, but you can handle it.

8.2% ABV, 45 BU

Killer Brass DBA will only be available on tap at The Horse Brass Pub, Portland, Oregon and the Double Mountain Brewery & Taproom, Hood River, Oregon.
