One of our favorite underrated beer bars and bottleshops, BEER, is throwing a Gorge-Us Tap Takeover of breweries from the Columbia River Gorge on February 12th from 11am to 11pm. There will be a special meet the brewers portion of the event at 7pm; the event is free to attend.

BEER (next to Meat Cheese Bread on Stark) will be featuring 10 specialty beers from 7 different breweries in 5 different cities lining the gorge, including: Thunder Island Brewing Co. from Cascade Locks, OR, Pfriem Family Brewers, Logsdon Farmhouse Ales, and Double Mountain Brewery from Hood River, OR, Solera Brewery from Parkdale, OR, Everybody’s Brewing from White Salmon, WA, and 54º40’ Brewing Company from Washougal, WA.

Beers will be on draft all day long. Pints are available for $5, specialty 10 oz. pours available for $6 and flights of 4 five ounce pours for $8.

“Beer is a small bottle shop and taproom on the corner of S.E. 14th and Stark in the Buckman neighborhood right next door to the much praised sandwich icon Meat Cheese Bread and just a block away from Revolution Hall. We offer a well curated selection of 10 rotating draft and 100 bottled beers as well as some of the coolest decor in town. We are open 7 days a week from 11 AM-11 PM. Our Happy Hour is from 4-6 PM 7 days a week where we offer $4 pints of craft beer and $2 pints of Rainier.”
