10 Barrel Brewing Portland’s long awaited rooftop patio/beer garden opens at its Pearl District brewpub this Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016; here is your first look. The wood paneled 1,568 square feet, full-service rooftop patio has 80 total seats and its own 20 rotating taps and 8 bar seats.

The open air rooftop bar is totally dedicated to good weather, no covered area and only one heater above the 8 bar seats. Decorated with cross hatched wood paneled deck and open views to downtown Portland facing 14th street, the plan is to grow hop bines up the 4 posts and across lines above the beer garden.

The patio features the full food and drink menu and is open nearly the same hours as the downstairs brewpub, closing one hour earlier, so 11am – 10pm Sunday-Thursday and 11am – 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

While 10 Barrel may now be owned by Anheuser-Busch/InBev, it still has some phenomenal beer by Portland pub brewer Whitney Burnside, who is doing some magical things with hops and Belgian styles.
