Join Hopworks Urban Brewery at Loyal Legion beer hall in Portland on April 21st  to celebrate the release of Gear Up IPA. From 5-8pm the HUB brew team will be on hand to give cheers and talk to hopheads about the wonderful world of IPAs.

Gear Up is a Northwest-Style IPA with a dry and tropical-hop profile. The recipe was made to provide a direct line to complex hop aromas and flavors of ripe passionfruit, pineapple, and mango. The beer is also HUB’s first foray into the world of 12 oz. six-pack can.

Every element of Gear Up IPA is meant to point to the majestic Pacific Northwest region. The beer is brewed with organic malted barley from Oregon, naturally filtered water from the Bull Run Watershed, and local hops. The label, designed by Jolby & Friends, portrays abstract landscapes of the Pacific Northwest sprinkled with images of the gear used for exploring the natural world.
