Thom Roholt and John Lovegrove’s upcoming Portland beer documentary “PDX: Brew City” now has a trailer ahead of its Portland Beer Week premiere on Sunday, June 12th, at the Mission Theater. The doc tells the story of craft beer in Portland, Oregon, from 1980 through today. The story unfolds through interviews with the founders of Portland’s earliest craft breweries and more than 50 other brewers, beer writers, and craft beer historians and enthusiasts. The film also tries to get to the bottom of how Portland became one of the world’s best beer cities. All of this is interspersed with John Lovegrove’s 77 Portland brewery crawl that he accomplished (and filmed) in one day.

PDX: Brew City is produced by John Lovegrove and Thom Roholt and directed by Thom Roholt.
