Ruse Brewing Releases Bottles of Kriek and Lily Patch Tiger

Our friends at Ruse Brewing have two new bottle releases this week. Ruse “Kriek” will go on sale today, Mon. Jan. 30th at Culmination Brewing and “Lily Patch Tiger” bottles will be released at Belmont Station on Wednesday, Feb. 1st. Ruse Kriek is of course a sour cherry beer aged in Pinot barrels and Lily Patch is a farmhouse pale ale aged in white wine barrels with brettanomyces for six months.

Ruse-Kriek

Ruse’s 2016 Kriek is a Flanders red base primarily fermented in stainless with our house ale strain then transfered into pinot noir barrels from Violin Wine on top of 100+lbs/cask of Bing cherries from amazing fruit growers Baird Family Orchards. All bacteria and yeast sourced from the skins of the fruit. 6.2% ABV.

Tuesday January 31st from 5 PM – 9 PM at Culmination Brewing is the bottle release of our 2016 Ruse Kriek. Culmination Brewing Company. 2117 NE Oregon St, Portland, Oregon 97232

Ruse Founder Shaun Kalis will be at Culmination Tuesday evening from 5:30 – 6:30 PM to shake hands, sign bottles and kiss babies.

Lily patch tiger, is a hoppy saison “time lapse” as a base, aged in pinot gris barrels from tartan winery for six months on our house brettanomyces strain,  then blended and bottle conditioned. 6.3% ABV.

Wednesday February 1st from 5 PM – 8 PM at Belmont Station is the Lily Patch Tiger bottle release. 500m bottles of Lily Patch and Kriek will be available. Belmont Station, 4500 SE Stark St, Portland, Oregon 97215
