SheBrew Female-focused Beer Festival and Homebrew Competition

SheBrew is a brand new beer festival and homebrew competition showcasing all female-brewed beers, presented by the Oregon Brew Crew and Human Rights Campaign. The beer fest component will take place March 4th at the Buckman Coffee Company in southeast Portland. Women homebrewers can still enter the homebrew competition until February 17th, with the competition/judging being held on February 25th. Find more details, registration information, and shipping locations at



The SheBrew Beer Festival component is welcome to all genders and all-ages and showcases both craft beer and cider made by female brewers. In addition to beer from Breakside, Groundbreaker, Gateway Brewing, Ecliptic, Baerlic, Ruse, Burnside, Heater Allen, Montavilla Brew Works Funhouse Brews, Reverend Nat’s Hard Cidery, 54-40 Brewing and Cider Riot. In addition to the drinks, there will be femaile musicians and other businesses representing.

$20 admission (advanced tickets available now) include a commemorative SheBrew tasting glass, and 10 tasting tickets.

So come out to the lesbian owned Buckman Coffee Factory and raise a glass to the ladies. A great reason to fly the nest and support Women and Equality!

In conjunction with the annual SheBrew Festival which features tastings of homebrewed beers and commercially produced beers by local breweries, the Oregon Brew Crew is pleased to announce our first homebrew competition for amateur female homebrewers.

Calling all female homebrewers! Looking for some feedback on some of your brews? Check out the first annual AHA/BJCP @SheBrewComp Homebrew Competition for amateur female homebrewers (21 and older).
