Double Mountain releases new PÊche Mode sour

By  |

Double Mountain Brewery & Taproom has released the annual edition of PÊche Mode, Belgian Style Sour Ale brewed with Peaches. Currently available on draft and in bottles at the downtown Hood River Taproom and SE Portland Taproom in the Woodstock neighborhood. A small supply of bottles will also be sold in specialty bottle shops.

“The PÊche Mode is a very approachable Brett beer.  It is super juicy and has a nice Brett funk without being too sour.  I would recommend this beer to anyone looking to venture into sours and fruit beer fans alike!  Cheers!” Chris Byers – Brewer

PÊche Mode

Belgiun Style Sour Ale Brewed With Peaches

8.7% ABV, 8 BU

Description: With nearly 500 pounds of peaches from Mt. View Orchards in Parkdale, OR, this Belgian Ale ferments on the fruit with our House yeast and Brettanomyces for nine months. The result is a juicy, farmhouse paradise. Lightly tart and refreshing, this one drinks easy, with peach and ripe citrus peeking through a farmhouse of funk.
