Brewed Food Announces “Good Bugs Fermentation Series” at GABF 2017

By  |

The Brewed Food project has traveled across the country hosting some great pairing events and is launching a “Good Bugs Fermentation Series” at this year’s Great American Beer Festival. The event series features new beers and collaborations with brewers from across the country, with multiple opportunities to join in the culinary and beer delights.

More from the press release:

DENVER, CO – August 14, 2017 – It’s common-place to read all about hops and grains in the tasting notes of a beer. In fact, they’re considered the primary contributors to a beer’s identity. As much as we agree that these are ingredients to be celebrated, we believe that there are a community of “Good Bugs” that deserve their dues as well. It’s our hope to one day see tasting notes that bring attention to yeast and bacteria strains like Baron, Conan, Brett Brux, Brevis, Delbrueckii, and the myriad of flavors they (and countless others) contribute to these brews.

“To have had a crazy idea that went from some weird fermentations in my garage, to a budding food movement, along-side the best of chefs and brewers, is so cool and profoundly humbling. Honored to be able to geek out with so many talented brewers. To bring together our combined talents and passions. To be inspired by each other’s crafts and create these unique Good Bugs beers, furthering a conversation about the flavors of fermentation!” – Jensen Cummings

Brewed Food is fueled completely by the support of our sponsors and the great work they do within the craft beer and culinary communities! Thank you to Tender Belly, Inland Island, Valentich, Chefs Custom Cutlery, Studio Atlantis, Absolute Graphics and Rounded Digital
