Celebrate the Total Brewclipse this Saturday in Portland

By  |

Portland Monthly Magazine is celebrating the eclipse early and with Portland beer at the Total Brewclipse PDX party this Saturday, August 5th. Though the event is strangely sponsored by Blue Moon Brewing, it is a local beer event with some of  Portland’s hottest breweries represented along with other attractions and entertainment.

In conjunction with Portland Monthly’s Beers of Summer feature in the July issue, the magazine proudly presents Total Brewclipse PDX, showcasing Portland’s vibrant craft beer scene while generating excitement about the solar eclipse crossing Oregon on August 21. Total Brewclipse PDX will feature some of our editors’ favorite summer beers, including brews from Ecliptic, The Commons, Great Notion, Burnside, and more. Guests can also expect a Reyka Vodka Moon-inspired cocktail, food trucks, live music, fortune-telling, astrological chart reading, space-gazing, and an epic dance party!

To continue inspiring a curiosity in space and science, a portion of the event proceeds will benefit OMSI’s crowdfunding campaign to refurbish Portland’s beloved Planetarium. At 25 years old, it needs our love.

The event is open to 21 and over. A ticket grants you unlimited beer tastings and VIP ticket holders will receive early admission, swag bag, and access to a VIP lounge area. Total Brewclipse PDX is presented by Blue Moon Brewing Co., and supported by Reyka Vodka, Delta Airlines, and EcoTrust.
