Coffee Loves Beer Festival presented by Stumptown Coffee

Coffee webmag/blog Sprudge has teamed up with Stumptown Coffee Roasters to present the Coffee Loves Beer Festival in Portland on Saturday, September 16th. The lineup of ten pacific northwest breweries will all showcase Stumptown Cold Brew as an ingredient. The beer lineup will feature refreshingly light beers that play on coffee’s acidity to stouts that complement that darker side of coffee.this event is sure to be an eye-opening experience to the world of coffee beers. A $35 ticket for early or late sessions presumably gets you a taste of all the 10+ beers plus a commemorative Stumptown glass. As a nice perk, you get 15% off your tab before or after tasting beers at The Woodsman Tavern next to Stumptown in southeast Portland. In addition there will be snacks and music to be announced!

Cascade – Foudre-aged sour triple with Holler Mountain cold brew

Boneyard – Mexican lager with a blend of cold brewed Latin American coffees

Basecamp – Bock lager with Ethiopia Guji cold brew, and maybe one more surprise coffee beer.

Ninkasi – NOIR (milk stout with a blend of cold brewed Latin American coffees)

Elysian – Punkaccino (pumpkin ale with a blend of cold brewed Latin American coffees)

Gigantic – IPA with Ethiopia Guji cold brew

Commons – Black currant sour with Holler Mountain cold brew

Breakside – Gose with Ethiopia Guji cold brew

Rogue – Cafe Rioja and Cold Brew IPA, both using a cold brewed blend of Latin American coffees
