Epic Brewing Launches New England-style IPA Series in Cans

By  |

Epic Brewing is jumping on the haze train with a new series of New England-style IPAs being released this August. Epic calls the line “juicy, hazy, hop bombs are packed to the brim with flavor” and “downright irresponsible when it comes to hop utilization”.

More from the press announcement:

Our brewers have been experimenting with everything from lupulin powder to massive hop backs, exploring the flavor synergies of fermentation hopping, and literally cramming in more dry hops then our tanks can even hold. Through months of R&D and long nights cleaning out the clogged heat exchanger we’ve developed several different recipes – because our approach to the New England-Style is simple: more is better!

The series will launch in 12oz cans and on draft across our entire distribution footprint. Each release will have its own codename and rotate recipes every 2-3 months. See the side of the can for indicators about each new recipe. Our first release goes by Citralush and its over-the-top use of late addition Citra and Mosaic hops gives the beer huge notes of sweet tropical fruit, citrus, and a very subtle touch of Colorado dankness.

The first cans will begin packing the middle of August before being rushed to distribution. We are optimizing batch sizes and distributor orders so the beer hits shelves as fresh as possible. Keep your eye peeled these beers may come and go as we brew to meet demand. Follow us on social media for updates and new recipe releases.
