Hopworks releases Next Adventure 20th Anniversary beer “Winter Kingdom”

By  |

Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) has teamed up with Portland’s Next Adventure for limited release bottles of “Winter Kingdom.” The new bottle and draft release is a collaboration beer to celebrate Next Adventure’s 20th Anniversary and their store’s annual transformation into a paradise for winter outdoor gear lovers. HUB is tapping the beer on October 14th and there will be a limited number of bottles available at all their pubs too.

More from a press release:

Winter Kingdom is a deep mahogany-colored, rich and complex winter ale. Warm, toasty and toffee malt flavors mingle with spicy and floral notes from Strisselspalt hops, and the addition of fir boughs to the hop-back adds an extra dose of winter.

If you would like to join the Next Adventure team at HUB for a pint, come to the HUB brewpub on SE Powell Blvd at 7:30pm on October 14. Once the Next Adventure team closes up their store on Saturday they’ll head to our brewpub. In the bar area at HUB, Next Adventure will sell raffle tickets to benefit SheJumps, an organization that works to build women and girls participation in outdoor activities. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. The winner will receive tickets for the Next Adventure Anthony Lakes Powder Run.
