Bridgeport Brewing Announces Ebenezer Ale Release and Bar Crawl

By  |

For all of the brewery’s changing lineup and turmoil, Bridgeport Brewing will release Ebenezer Ale and host the 9th annual Ebenezer Pub Crawl on Thursday, Dec. 7th, 2017. Now a modern Oregon classic, Ebenezer Ale is a strong and malty winter warmer of the style that used to be more common to get you through the cold winter months.

More info below from the press release:

BridgePort’s holiday brew, Ebenezer Strong Ale, is smooth with a complex palate derived from four different roasted malts and a blend of local and imported hops. Deep mahogany in color, its malty first taste and full body is balanced with a light hop aroma, leading to a caramel finish.

  • ABV: 6.4%
  • IBU: 32
  • OG: 16.2
  • AE: 4.40
  • Color: 30

To celebrate the release of this year’s Ebenezer, and to kick-off the holiday season, BridgePort will be hosting their 9th Annual Ebenezer Bar Crawl (open to the public) through Multnomah Village on Thursday, December 7th. Stops along the way include John’s Marketplace, Journey’s, O’Connor’s, The Ship, and Renner’s. Guests who complete their full Ebenezer passport will qualify for various prizes. The crawl is free and guests can pay as they go.
