Eugene, Oregon’s The Bier Stein bar, kitchen, and bottleshop, along with Ben Prescott, present Dark Days of Winter – Beer, Cheese & Small Plates pairings on Wednesday, January 24th. This ticketed event features a half-dozen carefully curated beer and food pairings chosen to complement the season by Ben Prescott Bier Stein chef Clayton Lee, and The New School’s Aaron Brussat and paired with beers from Europe and Oregon.

More from a press release:

A limited number of tickets are on sale now for $49 apiece; call The Bier Stein (541-485-2437) or come in to purchase tickets. The dinner will be hosted by Aaron Brussat, Beer Steward; and Ben Prescott, a Certified Cicerone® who organizes food and beverage events in Eugene. Expect a dose of knowledge and sensory inspiration served up with each course, as well as an opportunity to break bread with friends old and new. The beers are largely off the beaten path, and will deliver unique flavors that draw out nuances in the food and increase the enjoyment of food and beer alike.

Since its move to Willamette Street in 2013, The Bier Stein has put on over 20 beer and food pairing events, partnering with breweries, the local homebrew club, and curating in-house to give customers the opportunity to take their love of beer one step further. Cheers!

About The Bier Stein:

The Bier Stein Bottleshop & Pub opened in July of 2005 as a small beer and sandwich shop. It quickly became a craft beer mecca in Eugene, and has consistently been recognized as one of the best beer stores in the country. In 2013, The Bier Stein relocated to a much larger space to accommodate more bottles, taps, and people. We strive to create a space where friends and fellow beer enthusiasts can gather and enjoy the widest selection of beer in Oregon under one roof.
