Migration Brewing Burger Shack Pop-Up in Lloyd Center Mall

Portland's Migration Brewing, which just opened a production facility in Gresham and launched six packs in cans, is now opening up a temporary, pop-up location in Lloyd Center Mall in NE Portland. The Migration Burger Shack is tentatively scheduled to open this Thursday, November 15th with regular mall hours Thurs-Sun. 11am - 9pm.Migration's Burger Shack is a holiday promotional effort from the brewery and Lloyd Center's new keep it Lloyd Local initiative to add more small, hand-crafted, artisan vendors to the marketplace for the holiday season. According to an announcement from the mall, this holiday will see new pop-ups. "From Stubborn Stiles, a modern jewelry company, to Bricks and Minifigs, Portland’s largest Lego collector and novelty shop, to Palette, 42 a company that transforms palettes into statement furniture pieces, there is something for the whole family."
Migration Burger Shack will sling burgers and fries and cans of Migration Brewing beers for holiday shoppers through the end of the year. It's a chance to kick back and get some respite from the crowds and enjoy a cold one, a burger and fries for only $11 or with a soda instead of a beer for $10. The menu is small and to the point; outside of burgers, the pop-up will serve a fried chicken sandwich, onion rings, and a veggie burger, with a couple of wine and hard cider options also available by the can. It's all cans for beverages at this pop-up, so don't expect a large selection of Migration beers on draft, though the spot will be adding more cans as they are packaged. Check the full menu below:Plenty of Migration Brewing merch will be available, from hats to hoodies and a cooler of the breweries new 6-packs of cans and 750ml bottles coming of the winter warmer Frankie Claus. The space is also pleasingly retro; it's the former Billy Heartbeats Diner, a 50s-style diner with an open kitchen, black and white checkered floor and bright red leather booths on the second floor of the mall. Hopefully we will see more craft beer in Lloyd Center, possibly even a permanent brewpub in the future.2039 Lloyd CtrPortland, OR 97232
