Yetta Vorobik, owner ofNorth Portland’s The Hop & Vine,has embarked on a collaborative spree with local craft brewers and winemakers to produce the H & V’s own private label collection of beers and wines. Dubbed the “Ampersand (&)”, the first beer and wine in the series are both available now.

Collaborations invite the unforeseen, unfamiliar, & unprecedented. The Hop & Vine offers you this bottle, imbibed with inspiration from our fondest alchemists, in hopes that it will evoke joy & laughter at your table. Fermented with our friends to be shared with yours.

Chapter 1 is Berliner Weisse “with a little wood”. Created in collaboration with Burnside Brewing,this refreshingly tart twist on a classic Berliner-Weisse is aged in both Pinot and Old Tom Gin Barrels with Star Fruit. The beer is on tap now at both Burnside Brewing and The Hop & Vine, with 22oz bottles available for $6 at both locations. Get some while you can.


Chapter 2 is a wine created in collaboration with Cana’s Feast Winery.
