Lompoc Monster Mash Release Party

C-Sons Greetings Imperial IPA (2012) - All-Vector
Lompoc Brewing is holding a release party for its Halloween/Fall seasonal Monster Mash Imperial Porter this Wednesday, October 1st, from 4pm to close at 5th Quadrant (3901 N Williams Ave). I always prefer this fall seasonal rendition over the usual cloying pumpkin and Oktoberfest stuff and I recommend you try this chocolatey, robust and slightly smokey—but not overpowering—porter for yourself.

More from the Press Release:
No graveyard bash is complete without a batch of this monster brew, a full-bodied, full-flavored mash up of a half dozen dark specialty malts. Chocolate, rauch smoked and kiln coffee grains hint at this big brew’s profile. The malty sweetness is balanced nicely with the bitter notes of dark chocolate and coffee, alongside Centennial, Cascade and Willamette hops. At 8.1%, it’s a monster indeed! Available on draft and in 22 oz bottles.
Sir Pamplemousse will be in attendance.
In case you’re wondering why the party isn’t at Sidebar, it’s because a renovation project has begun. Sidebar is closed now through late Oct/early November; when it reopens, look for a roll up garage door, new booth seating, a dozen tap handles (one exclusively for cider), extended hours and a new Sidebar food menu. More details to come in the next month.
