Among Portland’s newest breweries is the latest to begin bottling beers when Southeast Portland’s Baerlic Brewing’s WoodWorker Series of Barrel-Aged Beers in bottles debuts. The first release on Saturday, Deceember 27th at 3pm will be of “Old Blood & Guts Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine.”

Old Blood & Guts Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine – an American style barleywine ale with rich aromas of dark fruit, molasses & brown sugar amassed with loads of NW hops that impart piney, citrus & spicy flavors & aromas.

By aging it in fresh Kentucky bourbon barrels, flavors of oak, caramel & vanilla bring some balance to this aggressively hopped barleywine style ale. Designed to drink now in honor of the Pacific NW hop tradition or years in the future for a more complex and spiritual experience.

Limited to only 382 bottles, this release is available at Baerlic Brewing Company starting Saturday, December 27th at 3pm.

PRESALE STARTS TODAY December 18th at 4 PM at the Baerlic TAPROOM

500ml bottles are $10 each and sales are limited to 2 bottles per person. The first 50 bottles purchased include a Baerlic WoodWorker Series tulip glass.
