BridgePort Brewing Company’s annual release of STUMPTOWN Tart is getting more frequent, back for a 2nd time in 2015 it’s loaded with Oregon grown Marionberries. This a Belgian Style Ale with rotating fruit choices that add some natural fruit tartness but never sour, this editions marionberries are appropriately from Marion County, Oregon.

“STUMPTOWN Tart is an iconic beer for us at BridgePort Brewing and we all love it,” says Brewmaster Jeff Edgerton. “We came across Willamette Valley marionberries from Stahlbush Farms in Corvallis, Ore. and the selection was too good not to use in our beloved Tart. For this brew, we used a Belgian Wit yeast and Czech Saaz hops giving the beer a slight bitterness and pleasant fruity base that melds perfectly with the berry flavor.”
