Ecliptic Brewing in Portland recently released Pollux Imperial IPA, winter seasonal Filament IPA has returned, and is now announcing JH² IPA, a collaboration with Fort George Brewery. John Harris and Jack Harris, brewmasters of Ecliptic Brewing and Fort George Brewery (respectively), share the same initials and both got their brewing start at McMenamins. The two have joined forces to create a cosmic collaboration, and in celebration will take part in the JH² IPA Brewmasters Tour.
JH² IPA is brewed with pale malt, Munich malt, and Pinot Noir and Syrah juice, giving it a subtle wine taste. Mosaic, Calypso, Simcoe, and Centennial hops add a wonderful hop aroma and flavor to the beer. ABV 7.0%

About Filament Winter IPA:
As the winter sun hangs low in our sky – some 90 million miles away – solar filaments (giant arcs of cool, dense plasma) explode from its surface. Ecliptic’s Filament Winter IPA celebrates this cosmic wonder. Pale Munich and Caramel malts create a rich malt character with honey-like flavor. A bounty of Crystal, Chinook and Centennial hops combine to lend a spicy, citrus hop note.
