Finnriver Farm & Cidery has a Cider Social planned for the upcoming CiderCon in Portland in early February and the return of the Beer Cider Love collaborative event with Fort George Brewery also in the works. It’s a good time to be a cider lover.

Finnriver Cider Social – February 3rd 6-9pm

Bushwhacker Cider – Brooklyn

Cidermakers and cider lovers welcome! Meet up and celebrate CiderCon’s 2016 arrival in Portland, Oregon with a Finnriver Cider Social hosted at Bushwhacker Cider 6-9pm, February 3rd. Limited release draft offerings from Finnriver Farm & Cidery will include the ‘Frog Eye Roll Cider’ made with organic ginger and Oregon water-grown wasabi from Frog Eyes Wasabi. A flight of Finnriver’s farmcrafted, small batch Crew Selection ciders will be available, as well as a Finnriver Pommeau Hot Toddy. Sample and select your favorite bottles to enjoy at the event or take them to go. Wood-fired pizza will be available on site from Little Oven Pizza, or order in for delivery or step across the street to The Brooklyn House Restaurant for a farm to fork dinner paired with a beautiful cider list, including a number of featured Finnriver selections. Jeff and Erin Smith, Bushwhacker Cider owners, will be present and copies of Jeff’s new book, Craft Cider: How to Turn Apples into Alcohol will be available for sale and signing. Beer Cider Love – Thursday February 11th 5-8pm

Beer Cider Love, a collaborative event with Fort George Brewery and Finnriver Cidery will be hosted 5-8pm Thursday, February 11th at Arch Bridge Taphouse at 205 7th Street, Oregon City. In time for a sweet Valentine’s night out, the 3rd year of this annual event will showcase a flight of hand selected Pacific Northwest beers and ciders, paired with offerings from Cheese Bar and Sweet Masterpiece Chocolate. Guests are invited to enjoy the featured flight, any of the draft offerings and make selections to bring home from a specially curated set. Join Fort George’s El Jefe of Sales & Distribution, Tim Ensign and Finnriver’s National Cider Ambassador, Jana Daisy-Ensign in celebration of beer, cider and love!
