Gigantic Brewing/Against the Grain Collaboration Finga Lickn’ Good Release

Finga Lickn Good copy

Gigantic Brewing collaborated with former Hopworks brewer Amelia Pillow, now with Against the Grain Brewery, on a Finga Lickn’ Good beer release. This Friday, April 8th, is the release party at the Gigantic Brewing taproom from 3-9pm.

Description from the brewery:

Finga Lickn’ Good is a started with a “Kentucky Common” – a bourbon inspired mash that contained rye and corn, and also a heaping helping of Belgian Special B crystal malt for added radiance. We then kettle soured the beast. To Oregonian-ize the beer we aged in Oregon pinot barrels. The finished beer is simultaneously tart yet rich, with deep pinot fruit notes, oak and beautiful caramelized sugars.

Finga Lickn’ Good will be on draft at Gigantic and 22oz bottles will be available for sale. This is a limited release of under 100 cases. It will only be available at Gigantic and Against the Grain in Kentucky.

The label art is by Jay Howell. He’s best known for his show Sanjay & Craig on Nickelodean, and for creating the Bob’s Burgers characters. The label features Ben, Van and Amelia riding disembodied fingers – it’s badass! Jay will be in Portland for the opening of his art show at AKA PDX this Friday June 10th – We will be pouring samples of Finga Lickn’ Good at his show.

yes that seems clear since it later says April 8th. Thats a mistake directly from the press release by Gigantic though.
