Larry Bell of Bell’s Brewery Visits Portland Beer Week

Larry Bell, founder/owner of Bell’s Brewery of Kalamazoo, Michigan, visits Portland for Portland Beer Week with events at Belmont Station and Saraveza on June 13th and 14th. Getting Bell’s Brewery beers in Portland is a big deal; Bell’s is a top 10 craft brewery and for many (especially midwesterners), their first brewery love. Props go to Rob Merollis and his Running Man Distributors for bringing Bell’s beers and Larry himself to Portland periodically! Also making the trip is Upper Hand Brewery, a spinoff of Bell’s Brewery also owned by Larry Bell.

Bell’s Beach Party!

Monday, June 13   5-9 PM
Belmont Station
4500 SE Stark St, Portland, OR 97215

Belmont Station turns into Bell’s-mont Station as we herald in summer with Bell’s founder Larry Bell and the most popular summer beer across the Midwest: Bell’s Oberon Ale! With its cheery, sunshine-y label, this refreshing ale combines a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas — the perfect complement to any beach party. Larry himself joins us to welcome Oberon back into Oregon after a hiatus of many years.

But that’s not all! We’re blowing out this beach party with a baker’s dozen Bell’s beers pouring in the taproom. Here’s the full list:

  • L’Appel Du Vide Ale
  • L’Appel Du Vide Dry-hopped Ale
  • Two Hearted Ale
  • Double Two Hearted
  • Spruce Two Hearted
  • Oberon Ale
  • Batch 1000
  • Batch 1500
  • Batch 2000
  • Batch 3000
  • Batch 4000
  • Batch 5000
  • Hopsolution Ale

We also will have some great Oberon stuff to take home, and of course, Oberon and Two-Hearted pint cans available for sale in the bottle shop.

So pull out your best Hawaiian shirt, slip on those flip flops and don your sun bonnet for our Bell’s Beach Party! You will want to be there with Bell’s on!
