Cider Riot! Hosts Fruit Cider Invitational

Cider Riot!® is hosting the inaugural Fruit Cider Invitational TODAY, Friday June 24th, 2016, on the patio at the cidery’s upcoming new production facility and tasting room near Burnside Brewing Co. in Portland. The Cider Riot! crew have hand-picked some of their favorite ciders that go one step beyond the apple, with selections from their our own cellar and from some of their favorite Oregon cidermakers.  The Fruit Cider Invitational is a two-day event held June 24th and 25th at the new Cider Riot! patio located at 807 NE Couch. The invitational is open to everyone 21 and up to attend and runs from 4:00-8:00 pm on Friday and 2:00-8:00 on Saturday.

“It’s true that all cider starts with apples, but we wanted to celebrate the diversity and creativity of ciders being crafted with other fruits,” said Cider Riot! owner Abram Goldman-Armstrong. “From lowly strawberries to lofty lemons, we’ll have it all.”
Kebabs and gyros from Ramy’s Lamb Shack, Cider Riot’s resident foodcart, will be available throughout the invitational. Live acoustic bluegrass will be provided on Saturday from Licklog Dispute.
