Redhook Brewery is celebrating the Fourth of July with a new year-round brew, American Pale Ale. This is a new hoppy addition to Redhook’s lineup, and the brewery is going for the patriotic vibe of red, white, and blue packaging, a la Budweiser renaming itself as America for the heavy drinking holiday weekend and summer.
More from the press release:
“Our American Pale Ale is a classic take on the style,” said Nick Crandall, lead innovation brewer at Redhook Brewery. “We wanted to brew a pale ale with pronounced citrus and floral hop aromas. Our APA is a nice balance of lemon notes with bitterness up front and a bright grassy finish. The beer is crisp, flavorful and perfect for summertime.”
Redhook’s take on the American Pale Ale style integrates classic Chinook and Cascade hop characters into this easy-drinking and full-flavored pale ale. At 4.7 percent ABV, the sessionable American Pale Ale is a great beer for any occasion throughout the year, including Fourth of July barbeques, game nights, and casual hangouts with friends.
American Pale Ale will be available nationally starting in early July in six- and twelve-packs, and on draught. For more information on Redhook Brewery, visit redhook.com and follow the brewery on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
