Old Town Brewing Releases Mushroom Ale in Bottles

Old Town Brewing Mushroom Ale

Originally brewed for the 2015 Oregon Brewers Festival, Old Town Brewing is releasing the buzzed about one-off Mushroom Ale in limited edition bottles. Released in screen printed and gold waxed 22oz bottles, Olt Town Mushroom Ale will be available in select tap rooms in the Portland area.

Made with candy cap mushrooms, it was called 1-Up Mushroom Ale last year and is now simply mushroom ale. It was a love it or hate it beer last year but undeniably a hit at the OBF and unique enough to be worth trying. Old Town’s Hannah Rand said, “the candy cap mushroom ale was created in search of a style and flavor unlike anything available on the market, or that people had already tried, something that would surprise and delight beer drinkers. “

Old Town Brewing and Pizza has two locations in Portland, the newer brewery location at 5201 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97211 and the OG pizza spot at 226 NW Davis St, Portland, OR 97209
