Pints for a Purpose at Roscoe’s

Roscoes beer

Great outer southeast Portland beer bar Roscoe’s is hosting its inaugural Pints for a Purpose event to raise money for some awesome charities this Wednesday, March 8th, from 11am – 2am. Roscoe’s is working with 20 different breweries to raise money for Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, National Resources Defense Council, and Oregon Public Broadcasting with special beers donated by some of Oregon’s best brewers.

All draft beer and cider sales for the entire day will be donated to the four different causes. Every single beer purchased will equate to a $5 donation to whichever of the four charities you choose! You will be given a token to place in a jar that corresponds to charity of your choosing. At the end of the night the tokens will be added up and each charity will get $5 per token.

Some of the Breweries involved will include: Upright Brewing, The Commons, Double Mountain, Ex Novo, Crux, Sunriver, Sierra Nevada, Migration, Ninkasi, Ecliptic, Worthy, New Belgium, Pelican, Epic, Flattail, Storm Breaker, Falling Sky, and Cider Riot!
