This is not an April Fool’s joke: Portland’s The Commons Brewery is releasing ‘Pay No Attention To This IPA’ in 16oz cans and on draft on Wednesday, April 5th. This is a new collaboration with the upcoming Grains of Wrath Brewing; it’s a bright American IPA bursting with intense pineapple, tropical fruit and citrus hop notes from Vic Secret, Denali, Citra, and Waimea hops.

Pay No Attention To This IPA will be available at The Commons Tasting Room and in limited quantities at Portland area specialty beer shops and bars. This beer will be canned and kegged on Tuesday, April 4th, so come to the release to experience the freshness.

Commons and Grains of Wrath will also be celebrating this collaboration on: Saturday, April 8th, 6pm at The BeerMongers and Tuesday, April 11th, 6pm at NWIPA. Cans and draft will be available at both locations.

The Commons Brewery opened in 2011 brewing balanced, refreshing ales and lagers. The Tasting Room is located in the heart of Portland’s Central Eastside Industrial District at 630 SE Belmont Street and is open everyday from Noon to 10pm.

Grains of Wrath is an upcoming punk rock and metal themed brewery in Camus, Washington led by Mike Hunsaker, most recently of the award-winning Fat Head’s Portland brewery.
