Stormbreaker Brewing Releases Two Fresh Hop Beers in Bottles

I thought I had corralled all the bottled and canned Oregon fresh hop beers of 2017 into one article, but unsurprisingly I was wrong. N. Portland’s Stormbreaker Brewing is releasing two: Fresh Hop House Martell NE Pale Ale and Handfuls of Fresh Hops.  Both beers/bottles will be released Monday, October 2 from 12 PM – 8 PM at the brewpub on N. Mississippi Avenue. Also, be excited for the brewery’s upcoming expansion into North Portland with a new brewpub.

Fresh Hop House Martell NE Pale Ale

6.0% 50 IBU

With over 200 lbs of fresh hop Mosaics added to this Citra dry-hopped pale, tantalizing aromas of grapefruit and papaya vigorously waft out of the glass. The ale that follows is juicy and lavish; indicative of the house it is named after. This New England style pale ale won’t make you bend the knee, but it might quench your thirst for vengeance.

Handfuls of Fresh Hops

Fresh Hop version of our Handfuls of Hops IPA series. This version features 200 Lbs of fresh hop Citras, and rounded out with Centennial, Ekuanot, El Dorado, and Galaxy hops.

We will do a release party featuring all three of our fresh hops beer, the third being So Fresh & So Wheat. Which is a 5.4% ABV 45 IBU American Amber Wheat brewed with Fresh Hop Cascades.
