A new time lapse/drone video from Crosby Hop Farm in Woodburn, Oregon shows the 2017 Hop Harvest in less than three minutes.
How do you see the entire hop growing season in under three minutes? For the last six months, a photo of a Crosby®-grown Sterling hop yard was snapped every 15 minutes, for 13 hours each day. Starting in April and wrapping up in September 2017, we worked with Resonance Productions to capture the beautiful and explosive growth at the farm. The drone footage was interlaced to create a moving time-lapse effect. On one of the last days of harvest, the drone flew over a Crosby Nugget field positioned next to Champoeg Creek, giving a bird’s eye view of the hops journey to the production facilities and the hop harvest in action.
