Stormbreaker Is So Hazy Right Now

North Portland-based Stormbreaker Brewing is building out its 2nd location that will soon open in St. Johns. The brewery has also gone all hazy right now with two new beers. In addition to House Martell (a NE-style pale) and Son of Jango-Cloud City Edition, StormBreaker is releasing two new hazy offerings, one of which will be a rotator series.

Nobody Puts Hazy in a Corner will be available February 20th. This Hazy IPA will feature two hops that dance together in dirty ways, changing hop partners with each release.

6% ABV 50 IBU

Our latest Hazy rotator is a juice bomb that Johnny Castle would be proud of. Like Johnny, our idea of a Hazy IPA is juicy with a balanced hop bite. Each batch will have huge tropical and citrus aromatics, and this is no exception. So crack this open, lift it high, and prepare to have the time of your life. No juice was harmed in the making of this beer.

Hazy…So Hot Right Now, a New England Style Pale Ale that will be released the week of March 12th.

5.6% ABV 48 IBU

Ever wonder if there’s more to life than drinking really, really, really ridiculously delicious beer? We don’t think so either. Our next strut down the Hazy Beer Runway features additions of 18 lbs. of Mosaic in the whirlpool, another 18 lbs. at Dry Hop, producing intense, Blue Steel, Le Tigre-like aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. Before you enjoy, please remember, the beer is “in” the bottle…

Son Of Jango will be released in May (May the 4th, of course) and in December. It may be called The Cloud City Edition or the regular release. And House Martell will continue to be released quarterly.
