Portland Hosts Homebrew Con 2018

Portland is playing host to the 40th annual Homebrew Con this June 28-30th, 2018. This is the biggest event in homebrewing and the largest gathering of homebrewers, presented by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA). Homebrew Con features interactive sessions, workshops and demonstrations that cater to beer enthusiasts and amateur brewers of every level.

The conference culminates with the National Homebrew Competition, the world’s largest beer competition, which recognizes the most outstanding homebrewed beer, mead and cider produced by amateur brewers worldwide.     

WHO:              An estimated 3,000 attendees will have the opportunity hear from over 90 presenters, including keynote speaker Charlie Papazian, who founded the AHA 40 years ago and is widely regarded as the “godfather of homebrewing.” Presenters include other pioneering and veteran homebrewers, beer industry professionals, mead makers and more.
