Hopworks Releases Totally Chill Hazy IPA in Cans

Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) has been experimenting with over a dozen hazy/juicy IPA recipes and has settled on Totally Chill Hazy IPA as the newest rotating release in the lineup. Totally Chill will land on May 25 in 12oz 6-pack cans, on draft at all three HUB pubs, and for distribution throughout the Northwest.

More from a press release:

Totally Chill comes loaded with a bouquet of pineapple and ripe mango from Azacca, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops. Brewed with generous amounts of oats, wheat and barley, Totally Chill has a thick and cloudy appearance, fluffy mouthfeel, and a blast of refreshing, juicy and tropical tasting hops.

Totally Chill steps in for Ferocious Citrus IPA on HUB’s seasonal calendar. Ferocious Citrus, which is a grapefruit hazy IPA, is now available as a year-round offering. During fresh hop season, Fresh Hop Totally Chill will appear momentarily before being replaced for the season by Abominable Winter Ale.

Totally Chill is one of numerous new hazy IPAs that have come from the brewhouse at Hopworks. With a rotating series that has included Chill Murray, Sunset Fuel, Destroyah and others, HUB clearly embraced the new style. Recently, their SE Portland brewpub boasted as many as seven different hazy IPAs on tap at the same time, and many of their new beers can be found at specialty bars and taprooms around Portland.
