“Suds and Shrooms” Morel Mushroom Dinner with pFriem at Mt. Hood Meadows

Mt. Hood Meadows is presenting their “Suds and Shrooms” Morel Mushroom Dinner with pFriem Family Brewers on Saturday, June 2nd. The dinner was a sell-out affair from last year that focused on the tasty Morel mushroom with beer pairings. Advanced tickets are available online for $75 here.

More from a press release:

The morel, or morchella is actually more related to the truffle than it is to other mushrooms, adding great depth of earth flavor to any dish that includes them. They have a very short growing season which also makes this dinner unique.

The brewers and mushroom dinner will celebrate this season’s bountiful harvest of morel’s with one of Hood River’s finest breweries. Meadows Executive Chef Daniel Dehay has created an amazing menu to pair with uniquely tasteful and complimenting Pfriem specialty brews. The morel appetizers are amazing, the salad refreshing and the cream of mushroom soup obligatory, yet delightfully morel.
The “morel” to this story is it will be an exquisitely luscious and delicious culinary experience.

The five course dinner will be served from 6:30 – 9:00 PM Saturday, June 17. Seating is limited for this extraordinary event and the cost is $75 (gratuity included). Reservations must be made online in advance at YourMountainHome.com.
