McMenamins inaugural Edgefield Brewfest, Roadhouse and Barley Cup Brewfests

McMenamins Breweries and Hotels have a trifecta of beer festivals coming up, including the Edgefield Inaugural Brewfest on Saturday June 30th and this weekends 21st annual Barley Cup Brewfest in Salem.

21st Annual Barley Cup Brewfest, Saturday, June 9: What’s better than a selection of hoppy and flavorful brews at the start of summer, all vying for your attention? McMenamins annual Barley Cup Brewfest. This year, it’s a mostly female affair with women brewers participating in the Brewfest and better yet, when it comes to the selecting the best brew on tap the decision lies with the sippers. Of course, Thompson’s head brewer Jen Kent will be there, known for developing delicious small batch beers in the Salem location, including McMenamins’ popular Black Widow Porter. More details to come but here’s a sneak peek of participating breweries: Green Valley Co., Heater Allen, Moonshrimp, Old Standby Brewing, etc.

Edgefield Inaugural Brewfest, Saturday, June 30Hundreds of breweries and cideries across Oregon and Washington will tap kegs at the first-ever McMenamins Edgefield’s Inaugural Brewfest. In addition to wandering rows of libations to find your favorite summer drink, festival-goers can enjoy a day full of relaxation and live music out on the sprawling lawn from Portland country band, Gary Bennett & The Coattail Riders and vintage rock artists, Rich Layton & The Troublemakers. Kids and dog are welcome too!

17th Annual Roadhouse Brewfest, Saturday, July 21As a longtime tradition for Pacific Northwest beer lovers, this festival is held outside at Cornelius Pass Road and is all about live music, BBQ and of course, beers. The later from McMenamins and guest brewers. Attendees can meet and mingle with the brewers, wander the grounds, grab a bite to eat from Imbrie Hall’s summertime menu, and visit the on-site brewery and distillery throughout the day.
