Stormbreaker Brewing announces Seven Fresh Hop Beers

Stormbreaker Brewing originally set out to brew (an already substantial) four fresh hop beers for the 2018 hop arvest season but after reconsideration decided that wasn’t good enough. The N. Portland-based brewery with a new location in St. Johns wanted to nearly double down on the first four fresh hop beers planned:  Handfuls of Fresh Hops IPA, Fresh Hop House Martell (Hazy Pale), Fresh Hop SteamBreaker (California Common), and Fresh Hop Savage Nimbus IIPA and have instead upped it to seven this year.

From Stormbreaker Brewing:

We have decide to raise the stakes and keep the brewery smelling extra fresh for a while. For the first time in our young history, we will be releasing not 4, not 5, not 6, but 7 Fresh Hop beers this season. We are super excited for these tasty beers. We will be bottling 5 of the 7 as well in limited runs! One of those beers, Backyard Fresh Hop Cascade IPA was brewed on our small system in St. Johns and will be exclusive to the StormBreaker St. Johns location. The hops were planted and picked by our brewer Tyler Martell from his very own backyard. We hope to release this one on or around Monday 9/17.
