Heater Allen and Allegory Brewing host McMinnville’s ORtoberfest

On October 6th, from Noon-9PM Allegory Brewing and Heater Allen Brewing will be hosting the 4th annual ORtoberfest in Allegory Brewing’s beer garden at 777 NE 4th Street in McMinnville! ORtoberfest is a fundraiser for the McMinnville Education Foundation. ORtoberfest started as an idea to celebrate the thing that makes the beer so great at the official Oktoberfest in Munich. ORtoberfest celebrates fresh and local German-inspired beers as well as fresh hop beers by pouring beer solely brewed in Oregon

More from a press release:

$10 gets you entry and a commemorative glass and four sample tokens good for four 4oz pours or one full pour. Half of the entry fee will be donated to the McMinnville Education Foundation. Additional drink tickets and/or extra glassware is available for purchase. There will be multiple food options available including giant festival pretzels from Fressen Artisan Bakery, beer brats and spaetzle from The Farmer’s Lunch Box food truck, and wood-fired fall pizzas from Pizza Capo. We’ll keep the Oktoberfest tunes blasting all day and if you show up in your Dirndl or Lederhosen you get an extra two drink tickets at entry. We hope you join us in drinking fresh Oregon craft beer to a great cause! Prost!
