The beer represents the first in the brewery’s Maker Series, a food-based collaboration series that highlights integrity in process and ingredients Little Beast Brewing is releasing their first “pastry stout” with Merit Badge S’mores Imperial Stout.
This Saturday, July 13th is the 2nd annual Summer Strawberry Beer Festival at Saraveza and their Bad Habit Room in N. Portland. Running from noon until 10pm, this celebration of rare, sweet and sour strawberry beers and ciders has just announced the final taplist and food specials. The lineup includes 16 beers and 5 ciders, 21 total strawberry infused beverages. Entrance is only $10 and includes a branded festival glass and 4 drink tickets if you purchase in advance online, 2 drink tickets if you purchase at the door, additional drink tickets are $2 each.

Wildcraft Cider Works | Strawberry Spruce Tip cold-fermented freeze-pressed strawberry wine and infused with just a hint of fermented spruce tips that were hand-harvested in the springtime, 6.3% ABV.
Wittekerke | Strawberry Sour made from Wittekerke Wit with sweet strawberry and the sour flora harvested from the oak foeders (barrels) used in making the famous Petrus Aged Pale, 5% ABV.
2 Towns Cider | Strawberry Haze Oregon totem strawberries grown just miles from the Ciderhouse. Finished with crimson red rhubarb for a little bite that makes this cider so good, 5.5% ABV.
Saraveza will also have strawberry food specials like a Strawberry BLT Sandwich and a Strawberry Salad with spinach, shaved fennel, radish, candied walnut, and a chèvre vinaigrette. Hopefully a dessert too.
