Valley Growlers presents the Happy Valley Oktoberfest
Valley Growlers is teaming up with the city of Happy Valley to bring a real classic Oktoberfest celebration to the Portland suburbs on Sat. October 12th. With a grant from Clackamas County, the Valley Growlers team and the city of Happy Valley are putting on an all-out epic celebration of German Oktoberfest with tons of activities, authentic and local beer, and much, much more. The Happy Valley Oktoberfest will benefiting the Clackamas Dogs Foundation & Clackamas County Dog Services.
Opening ceremonies will be emceed by Gustav from 94.7 NRK as the Mayor taps the ceremonial ferkin! Live traditional music will play on the stage in the 60'x120' Oktoberfest tent with SteamWerkz serving up Zenner's German sausages & brats & hot pumpkin & apple doughnuts, and The Mack Whiskey Kitchen serving up pork sandwiches, Bavarian Pretzels, German tots and bacon wrapped dogs! We also have several other food vendors such as Killer Burger, Chick-fil-A, Chop Chop Chicken, Papa Murphy's Pizza, & more. Vendors will be selling farmer's market goods.

Races start at 3pm. Please have you dog to the starting blocks to sign in and get their racing jersey by 2:30pm. There are 3 categories this year: Daschunds! Corgies! Dogs Under 20 lbs!
The winner of each category receives a special trophy and a jar of treats!

Happy Valley Middle School on King Road has overflow parking available, but you will have to walk the .3 mile boardwalk path between the school and the park. It's about a 5 minute walk.
