Loowit Brewing Hosts Men's Health Pinball Tourney.

Loowit Brewing Company in Vancouver, WA is set to host Ball Save - a fundraising pinball tournament to support the Movember Foundation - this Saturday at the brewery. The event is free to attend as a spectator and just $10 to play in the 3-Strikes-Style Tournament beginning at 4PM.

The issue of testicular cancer hit home for Loowit Brewing last year when the husband of Front-of-House Manager, Andrea Hoff, received the diagnosis. At that time, Loowit hosted a fundraiser to support the Hoff family with expenses related to the illness. The greater Vancouver beer community came together as donations came in from Heathen Brewing, Brothers Cascadia Brewing, Trap Door Brewing and other local businesses for the auction.

In this new effort to battle men's health issues, Loowit Brewing has teamed up for Saturday's event with Freshwater Bay Creative (the artists behind breweries like Loowit, Heathen, Victor-23 and others) and ZZEPPELIN (a marketing group supporting Loowit, Grains of Wrath, Trap Door, Pelican and others) for planning, partnership and sponsorship to make a greater impact. Full disclosure: This piece is written by the founder of ZZEPPELIN.

Loowit boasts a new lineup of pinball machines in their restaurant and taproom.

Said Loowit co-founder, Devon Bray, "Men’s Health is an important cause for us as cancer has effected the lives of members of our own team. Funds from this event will be donated to the Movember Foundation and their annual efforts to raise awareness, encourage screenings and find a cure for testicular cancer."

Players may register at the brewery anytime this week right up until just before the 4PM start time on Saturday. The $10 entry includes your first pint of Loowit beer. Add the event to your calendar on Facebook here.
