Michigan’s Founders Brewing has released a new year-round juicy called Unraveled IPA, which will be joined by flagship All Day IPA in 16oz cans. Founder’s has been a staunch supporter of bottles, but began packaging in 12oz cans awhile back but had never released a beer in this larger format. 4-packs of 16oz cans begin rolling out in September 2020.
More from a press release:
“Getting into 4-packs of 16oz cans with our flagship brand, All Day IPA, and our new juicy IPA, Unraveled IPA, is really exciting to deliver to our fans,” said VP of Marketing Sandy Anaokar. “This pack type has become more and more popular over the last few years, especially in the Northeast US, since it allows consumers a shareable pack type that offers more beer per can. All Day IPA and Unraveled IPA are both beers that are accessible to a number of consumers due to All Day IPA’s lower ABV and Unraveled IPA’s on-trend flavor profile. Plus, they’re perfect for sharing with friends and family.”
Unraveled IPA and All Day IPA 16oz cans will begin shipping to Great Lakes and East Coast regions beginning in September 2020. All other regions in the US will see this package type beginning in Spring 2021. Pricing will vary by market.
In addition to the new packaging types, All Day IPA is available in 6-pack and 12-packs of 12oz bottles; 6-pack and 15-packs of 12oz cans; 19.2oz single-serve cans and on draft. Unraveled IPA is available in 6-packs of 12oz cans and on draft. Beginning in August 2020, Unraveled IPA will also be available in 15-packs of 12oz cans exclusively in Michigan.
