All the staying at home lately means a lot more time for homebrewing. The 22nd annual  Learn to Homebrew Day, hosted by the American Homebrewers Association® (AHA) is a great time to discover a new hobby, or rediscover an old one.

Hosted by the American Homebrewers Association® (AHA), this year, the official recipe is Mad Jack’s Hoppy Amber Ale, a perfect beer to begin the homebrewing journey. Get started with common kitchen items and ingredients available at your local homebrew supply shop or online.

“On November 7, we welcome curious newcomers to join our vibrant community and discover the joy of homebrewing,” said Rachel Staats, senior marketing manager, American Homebrewers Association. “Homebrewers are an enthusiastic bunch, happy to tap into their knowledge and also their beer. Now is a great time to start a new at-home hobby; choose one where you can raise a glass and celebrate the results.”

The American Homebrewers Association offers a wealth of resources for brewers and beer lovers of all levels, including:

“Becoming an AHA member provides many perks beyond medal-winning homebrewing recipes and tutorials,” added Staats. “All members receive a subscription to Zymurgy magazine and access to more than 2,300 exclusive discounts from breweries, taprooms, brewpubs, and homebrew supply shops nationwide, which can help gather inspiration for your brew day.”

In 1999, Learn to Homebrew Day was established by the American Homebrewers Association to promote education about the most rewarding, and delicious hobby of all time. Visit HomebrewersAssociation.org to make the Learn to Homebrew Day pledge and receive a limited-time membership offer for #LearntoHomebrewDay. This year’s event is presented by Fermentis by Lesaffre.
