de Garde Brewing + Jandy Oyster Co Coastal Takeover in Portland

Oregon’s famous spontaneously fermented masters of sour Lambic-inspired beers will be at N. Portland bar Interurban (4057 N Mississippi Ave) on February 4th for a de Garde Brewing coastal takeover and JAndy Oyster Co. pop-up.

de Garde is known for their accessible but complex fruited or botanical sours fermented with live yeast and bacteria that live in the Tillamook air and in the oak vessels they ferment in. They do not do many events in Portland, so this is a rare opportunity to drink equally rare beers. JAndy is de Garde’s local oyster farm and bar, commonly found shucking oysters at neighboring events like last year’s de Garde 10th Anniversary invitational festival.

The JAndy team will be shucking fresh oysters from their own farm, live in house at the Interuban bar in Portland while their team is pouring select/rare beers from de Garde for this special event. Seafood will all be served Ala carte and all 6 beers will be available in 9oz pours. Owner Todd Perman of JAndy Oyster Co. and Trevor Rogers owner/brewer of de Garde Brewing will be there to help host the party and talk about what makes their products so incredibly special.
