SteepleJack Brewing launches new Harder Day Series in 19.2oz cans

Portland, Oregon founded Steeplejack Brewing has launched a new 19.2oz can release series of strong beers called the Harder Day series. The first two beers to debut in this series are an Imperial Red and a Malt Liquor. The Harder Day line will introduce new beers each quarter. Oregon and Washington craft drinkers can expect to find Harder Day Imperial Red and Harder Day Malt Liquor available at local grocery, convenience stores, and bottle shops beginning in mid-January. This new imperial line features big beers with robust flavors and higher alcohol content.

Steeplejack Harder Day Imperial Red is a strong full-flavored red with a rich, complex malt-bill and a modern hop-profile. This beautiful copper-red hued beer is reminiscent of our favorite American Strong Ale. 7.6% ABV

Malts: GW Superior Pilsen, GW Pure Washington, Weyerman CaraAmber, Simpsons DRC, Weyerman Melanoidin, Link Oat Pale Malt & rolled oats  Hops: Mosaic, Chinook, Strata & Willow Creek Yest: Chico

Steeplejack Harder Day Malt Liquor is a malty beer, made using locally sourced Bavarian Barley to produce a strong, sweet malt character. We then add noble hops to compliment the malt resulting in a craft flavor in a malt liquor package. 7.2% ABV


Malts: LINC Steffi, Weyerman Carafoam & LINC Baronesse Vienna  Hops: Zuper Saazer, Hallertau Blanc & GR Tettnanger  Yeast: 34/70

Founded in 2021, Steeplejack is family-owned, with a women-led brewing team, dedicated to producing world-class beers. The brewery’s first location is home to a 10bbl brewhouse and taproom situated in a former church constructed in 1909 in Portland, OR. Located at NE Broadway and 24th, The Broadway Pub continues a proud tradition of community gathering. Steeplejack’s second location, Pizza and Beer, is a pizza pub in SW Portland.
