ColdFire Brewing partners with Block 15 Distribution

Block 15 Brewing’s wholesale business Block 15 Distribution is partnering with Eugene, Oregon’s ColdFire Brewing Company to help make their acclaimed beers easily accessible across the state. ColdFire has long been a Willamette Valley favorite, recently racking up medals at the Oregon Beer Awards, and just last week at the prestigious World Beer Cup. With the completion of a new production brewery in Junction City, ColdFire is ramping up production with new veterans like head brewer Shawn Grover (formerly of pFriem Family Brewers), and Dave Marliave, the creator/brewmaster of Flat Tail Brewing and New Spring Beer.

Adding ColdFire to the Block 15 Distribution portfolio is another example of efforts to carefully curate selected partnerships as they join Wayfinder Beer, de Garde Brewing and Ferment Brewing. ColdFire will now be more available in Portland, Hood River, Ashland, and SW Washington through Block 15 Distribution. They will officially launch on April 29th, distributing beers such as Skyline Dreams WCIPA, Czech Pils, and 2024 WBC silver medal winner Cerise Rouge.

"Block 15 Distribution has always impressed us with their commitment to quality, freshness, and focus on the craft. We are excited to open this next chapter of ColdFire brewing with them as our partner serving Oregon's craft beer lovers," said Cofounder and General Manager Dan Hughes.

Located in Eugene, Oregon, ColdFire Brewing Company was established in 2015 by brothers Stephen Hughes (Founder and Brewery Manager) and Dan Hughes, drawing inspiration from European brewing traditions. From IPAs to Czech-style Pilsners and from wild offerings to Barrel-Aged selections, their portfolio offers a unique blend of these traditions using local and regional ingredients of the Pacific Northwest. Often brewed in small batches, their beers are available in 16oz cans, barrel-aged bottles, and draught formats.

"I’ve been a big fan of ColdFire since they first started sending beer up to Corvallis in 2015.  They share a great number of values we hold dear at Block 15, and we couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to get their great beer into the hands of more folks around the state. " Said Block 15 Chief Operating Officer Ian Hutchings.

Located in Corvallis, Oregon, Block 15 Distribution, launched in 2020, is dedicated to helping like-minded breweries control how their beer reaches the market while providing the PNW with fresh products.
