Crux Fermentation Project releases Cranberry Wit and Imperial Saison in Bottles

Bend, Oregon's destination brewery Crux Fermentation Project has released two new limited/seasonal beers in Cranberry Wit and Imperial Saison from their In The Pocket series. Cranberry Wit is based on a hit test batch that made the rounds at the breweries tasting room last year. Imperial Saison was a hit in the breweries barrel-aged [Banished] series and is now making an encore showing in the In The Pocket series.Cranberry Witwas such a big hit at the tasting room last year that they decided to brew it again for a special summer release. A bog's worth (13lbs per HL) of cranberries from Bussmann Farms in Sixes, Oregon was added to the hopback with wheat procured from Malpass Farms in Harrisburg, Oregon to add to the local charm of this unfiltered, refreshing witbier. Available now in limited quantities (500ml bottles & draft) throughout the Pacific NW. 4.9% ABV.Imperial Saison (In The Pocket)this blended Imperial Saison is as intriguing as its debut. 100% brett fermented, both young and old, the elder barrel-aged portion was aged for about a yar in our favorite Northwest red wine barrels. The description on the label still sums it up best - "the elder imperial saison lays down the tart oaky notes in lock step with the wild improv of the younger brett duet. Can you dig it?" Now on the shelf (750ml bottles) and on tap at fine establishments throughout the Pacific NW. 9.9% ABV.
