Homebrewers and Probrewers Unite for Willamette Week’s Beer & Cider Pro/Am

Tickets are now on sale for Willamette Week’s 6th annual Beer & Cider Pro/Am that takes place on Sunday, October 14 from Noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Leftbank Annex (101 N Weidler Street). A ProAm is a collaboration between homebrewer and probrewer wherein a homebrewing recipe is scaled up and brewed with a professional brewer, there is a category and whole booth for these beers at the Great American Beer Festival but Willamette Week curates their own for this unique local festival that benefits Oregon Wild. This year there are 30 teams of homebrewers with probrewers and also cidermakers and I am happy to report that yours truly is teamed with Baerlic Brewing on a collaboration.
